Lough Erne Resort completes latest phase of refurb project

The latest phase is part of the resort’s largest capital injection since it came under the management of US-based TRU Hotels and Resorts

Lough Erne Resort in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland, has announced the completion of the latest phase of its multi-million-pound refurbishment programme that aims to reinforce its position as a unique leisure destination.

The latest phase, which is part of the resort’s largest capital injection since it came under the management of US-based TRU Hotels and Resorts, also represents a greater focus on guest wellbeing and mindfulness.

Lough Erne now boasts refreshed interior styling across 53 luxury guest rooms, 25 luxury lodges and communal areas that reflect the resort’s natural assets of its 600-acre private peninsula, harmonising with the water, wild countryside and landscaped grounds.

Gareth Byrne, general manager of Lough Erne Resort, said: “The resort has been truly transformed with our former old-world interiors now aligning with the beauty of our countryside setting and the pursuits which we offer on Lough Erne.

“Guest feedback has been really encouraging, with many referring to our freshly designed Garden Hall as ‘modern regency’ which makes us very proud.”

Lough Erne Resort was acquired in 2015 by Lough Shore Road Limited, in a joint venture of US-based Advantage Capital Holdings Inc and TRU Hotels and Resorts LLC, who also serve as the resort’s operators.
