Foxhills appoints Kelly Elton as group director of sales

Foxhills has announced the appointment of Kelly Elton as group director of sales to drive its meetings and events business.

With a “wealth” of experience in growing corporate business within the hospitality industry, Elton joins Foxhills as it looks to maximise its wellbeing proposition across its 400-acre estate.

Elton started her career at Woodlands Park Hotel in Cobham, and went on to spend more than a decade with Hand Picked Hotels

According to Foxhills, Elton’s experience will help continue to build the conference and team-building initiatives, while also taking responsibility for overseeing corporate business at our sister property, Farleigh, in Warlingham.

Foxhills recently announced our new Padel and Pickleball Rate (PPR), in addition to a range of more than 200 immersive weekly activities for businesses, highlighting the focus on developing mindful mornings and active afternoons for meetings, conferences and business connections.

Located just 20 minutes away from Heathrow, Elton will be focusing on growing Foxhills’ international reputation, working closely with the country’s film studios given Foxhills’ close proximity, in addition to enhancing its relationship within the automotive industry.

Elton said: “I am delighted to have joined the team here at Foxhills and I believe that we have an incredible opportunity to grow both our domestic and international business. There has been investment of more than £35m over the past 40 years into the facilities at the resort and its reputation speaks for itself.

“I’m looking forward to helping drive real change over the coming months and years, as we create more bespoke approaches to business meetings and away days, utilising our wellbeing activities to enhance experiences with us, and challenging mindsets around how teams work together.”

Tej Walia, managing director at Foxhills, added: “It is great to have Kelly on board and to start to see her vision of how we can bring our meeting and events offering here at Foxhills to a new level.

“As a continuously growing business, we are always looking to invest in our team as well as our facilities. Kelly’s experience speaks for itself, and I am sure she will be a great asset to the team to assist in building experiential based offerings that focuses on our client’s bespoke needs.”
