Pamper your pooch this National Pet Month

All up and down the UK, people will be celebrating life with their pets thanks to National Pet Month this 2012, and guests at the Clumber Park Hotel and Spa will have the option of its Executive Pooch Package, which includes the use of a dog basket, a complimentary blanket and lead, a two-course ‘doggy dinner,’ and a ‘doggy bag’ including a brush, toy and other treats.

“The idea of National Pet Month is to promote responsible pet ownership and raise awareness of the benefits of living with pets and as a hotel we’re proud to say that we have an open door policy to residents and their dogs,” said Edward Mobbs, the hotel’s sales and marketing manager. “We’re also lucky enough to be situated in Sherwood Forest, one of the most beautiful and tranquil parts of the country,” he continued, “and so those stunning dog walking surroundings coupled with the Executive Pooch Package, seems to be a pretty good way of showing your appreciation for man’s best friend this year. Plus, you might even get to sneak a treat in for yourself at the spa!”

National Pet Month runs from 7 April to 7 May, 2012.
